Subject: Concerns Regarding Inefficient Service at Villa Rental San Lamier Dear Booking. com I would like to formally raise concerns about the inefficiency I experienced with the staff during my recent stay at Villa Rental San Lamier. Well in advance of arrival, I was asked to send specific documents to a designated email address. I sent the documents as requested and even asked for confirmation of receipt both via Booking.com and via the email I used. When I arrived to check in, none of those documents were available. I was then asked to resend everything to a different staff member. This indicates that the first person simply did not do her job. The day before arrival, I received a call from someone in the rental agency saying that payment could not be processed. I explained that I would be arriving the next day and would settle the payment in person. Upon arrival, I made the payment, it went through successfully, and I received the credit card slip. I noticed at the time that the receptionist did not retain and staple the merchant copy to the rest of my documents. Two days later, I received another call from the same staff member stating that they could not find the money in their account and asking if I still had my slip. I informed them that they should have their own copy, and they replied that the payment had not come through. I then spent almost an hour on the phone with my bank, who confirmed that the payment had gone through and that Villa Rental San Lameer simply needed to run their batch for that day. Overall, the experience demonstrated staff inefficiency and a lack of basic administrative control. Instead of enjoying my holiday, I had to spend time solving issues that should have been handled correctly by your team. I request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to improve your processes so that future guests do not face the same avoidable inconveniences.

The bathrooms needed an upgrade, the kitchen should also use an upgrade with better kitchen utensils.
