We stayed at Vawa Guesthouse for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a small kitchen, private bathroom, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was great to have the option to cook our own meals.
The location is about 11 km from the city, which was perfect for us as we had a rental car. There is convenient parking on-site. The guesthouse is in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.
It’s a great base for visiting nearby attractions such as Elephant Haven, Erawan National Park, Sai Yok National Park, and local temples — all within easy driving distance.
The hosts were friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth. Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for a peaceful stay with good access to the Kanchanaburi region.

Everything! After busy Bangkok this was exactly what we needed. We came by train and took a tuktuk (200 bath) to the guesthouse.
The houses are super comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. We rented a scooter and spent one day visiting Erawan, which was so much fun. The road to the park is beautiful. The other day we visited Kanchanaburi. The guesthouse is not in the city center, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we had the scooter and there are a few restaurants nearby (walking distance).

ทำเลที่พักอยู่ห่างร้านสะดวกซื้อและชุมชนต้องเข้าซอยเล็กๆ และมืด พนักงานต้อนรับผู้จาแย่มาก โทรสอบถามเส้นทางพูดไม่ดีบอกว่าไม่มีเวลาอธิบายเส้นทางเพราะต้องรับลูกค้าท่านอื่นแล้ววางสายเลย..ตอนสายๆ เพื่อนบ้านข้างรีสอร์ทเปิดเพลงเสียงดังมาก
