Everything was perfect. From the cleanliness to the care of the hosts, I had an amazing experience from start to end. It feels like the hosts thought of every single detail for travellers. There were already coffee and cold water in the fridge, which makes a big difference on its own. I had an incident where I forgot my phone in the Uber and the hosts were incredibly helpful with calling the Uber driver (since I didn't have a phone and don't speak French). The hosts were actually out of the country and in a different time zone, which meant they were helping me at 3am. I couldn't thank them enough for all the help provided.

オーナーが客と直接には一度も接触せず、すべてメールでやり取りして完結する方式を取っている。それだけにメールでの意思の疎通にオーナーが細心の注意を払っていることがうかがえた。部屋へ入る方法の指示、キーのボックスの暗唱番号、退去時の方法など、メールによる親切なアドバイスは行き届き、問題なく終えた。それでも近所の人の助言が必要な場面もあった（宿の場所の確認、路上駐車の可否の確認、路上駐車の車の盗難被害の頻度など）。近所の人がみな親切で、助けられた。

完全なセルフチェックイン、チェックアウト方式というのは、コロナウイルス感染流行の影響により始めた方式かも知れない。しかしメールでの親切なアドバイスを通じてオーナーに好感を持てば、直接、会ってみたくなるのが旅人の人情だ。この方式はジレンマではないだろうか。
