Fireweed House

Everything!!! This was a 10+ experience. I wish they allowed a higher rating. Victoria met us as we drove up. What a wonderful lady and host! Fireweed House was amazing!! It was the cherry on top to end our 50th Anniversary Alaska Adventure. Everything about this place is done extremely well. Victoria has tried to think of everything to make sure your stay is great!It just made us smile when when we walked in. Fresh flowers in every room. A full kitchen with everything you can think of. Lots of space to sit and relax. A backyard with places to sit and a grill to grill on. It felt like home away from home! If we go back to Fairbanks - we will adjust our plans to make sure we can stay here again.

Not a thing!! I don't think there is way to improve the house or experience.

Everything. It was way over the top with comfort and decor. All those little extras made such a difference.

This place has reset my standard for Bnb accommodation. Absolutely everything was impressive, starting with the communication with Victoria from the time we booked to our check-in day. Then there was the decor as we came through the front door and realised this haven was ours if only for two nights. After weeks in hotels we appreciated there was a kettle and a choice of teabags and coffee alternatives, space to sit including the setting in the back yard, the washing facilities and the kitchen set up. The little touches such as the cookies and the jam were great. And if only we'd had time to read the books and catch up on some relaxing streaming. Essentials like comfortable beds and hot water for showering were enhanced by extra towels so we could wash our hair, glorious local soaps and copious bathroom supplies.

We only had two nights.
