Centrally located apartment

The local host met us the day after our check-in date as we had car trouble and got in a day late. I appreciate their flexibility. The property has good bones, and it seems like they spent money on what they provide. Good kitchenware, good appliances, good furniture. Air conditioning was in both bedrooms and the kitchen/living area. Each bedroom had a desk which was a huge bonus for us as we both work remotely. It's a short walk to multiple restaurant and bar hotspots, and very close to multiple museums and parks. Very convenient to see town! Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The location pin was not accurate so it was difficult to find the place. There were inconsistencies in the listing. For example, the listing says "free on-site parking" but this is not the case, there is only free street parking so a parking spot is not guaranteed. Also from the listing, there is no toaster and there is no dishwasher, and while there are two balconies, there is no patio. While what they do provide is good quality, I feel like they could provide more. For example, there's no way to drain pasta. There is no kitchen knife/chef's knife or a cutting board. There should be wall hooks or a coat rack near the front door, and a small table for keys, etc. There's only one towel rod for an apartment that sleeps 5, and nowhere to hang a hand towel in either the kitchen or bathroom. It feels like the apartment was renovated and then used only as a rental property, not lived in, so basic conveniences are missing that would be there if the owners stayed for a few nights and had the same "ah-ha" moments we did when we asked "Why isn't there X?" to ourselves. None of these are deal-breakers, it just could have been better.
