Villa Martins, Inhaca, Mozambique

The place is very calm, the staff is fully available, the quality of the room is perfect, the seafood platter is incredible, the service and the support of the staff for activities around is just great.

Villa Martins on Inhaca Island was exactly what we needed. Jacob (the manager) welcomed us like family and truly made our stay wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble — he’s warm, attentive, and knows the island inside out. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well-kept. You can tell the team takes real pride in the place. But the highlight? Jacob’s grilled fish. Caught locally and cooked to perfection — honestly, it’s to die for. Peaceful location, great hospitality, spotless rooms, incredible food. What more could you want? Already planning our return. Obrigado, Jacob and team!

The wi-fi at the rooms could be improved, but the vibe it’s to disconnect a little from the noise world we live in , so it’s not too bad.

The Villa Martins is a hidden secret of getaways in Mozambique! Absolute value for money, exceptionally friendly and competent staff, wonderful food with fresh ingredients caught locally from the sea, and well looked after all round. The rooms and amenities were perfectly clean and well maintained - with a large freshwater pool in the central area. A perfect family getaway. And a good range of activities on offer - most are free of charge - snorekelling, wonderful walks on open flats at low tide, visits to the local village with great bars and restaurants. A photographers' paradise!
