    We only stayed one night at Hotel Route Inn but I was very impressed by the clean and new facilities. We also had a simple breakfast buffet included. Our only issue was that the laundry channel on the TV wasn't accurate about when machines were available. It is also in walking distance to Kameoka station.

    Perfect place for Arashiyama if you want to be away from the crowd. Food and facilities were perfect. Will definitely go back!

    It was alright but a bit expensive for what you’re getting. Although we booked a twin room, the staff had still made us pay additional for 2 people. The breakfast was included in our booking but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not into Pure Japanese Cuisine. In terms of location, its quite nicely located right next to the Kameoka Train Station. But in regards to the distance to Kyoto Center. Its about a 30mins train ride with trains running only every hour or so. Room was okay, the bathroom was really cramped but the layout for the beds was good!
