The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running. Please inquire for details.

Put skis on in front of cabin. Take a left out of the driveway and hop on the Buffalo Hide access trail to the right before Rising Bull Road. Follow this access trail along the road. The Buffalo Hide access trail will cross Rising Bull Road and head downhill towards White Otter chairlift. You should see the maintenance building on your right. Load the White Otter chairlift. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)

Loved this log cabin. Literally skied on and off directly from the front porch every day!! The bund bedroom was great for the kids, and the other 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for parents. Would definitely try to book this property again for another Big Sky vacation.

Excellent home and well appointed, ski in/out is a bit complicated but very feasible once you do it. Hot tub and fireplace and snow falling outside, good friends - great time!

We had a great family ski trip at this spacious cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone, three adult couples with full bedrooms and even a separate room for the baby. There are three floors, each with bedrooms and full baths. Overall very comfortable, warm and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious enough so that more than 1 person could move around. We ate in every night of our stay. So having a good kitchen to cook in was important for us.This was truly a ski-in ski-out place with good instructions on how to get back to the cabin. I only made a wrong turn once. And it was a short easy skirt the white otter lift which allowed us to venture off anywhere on the mountain. And coming home, we made use of the wonderful hot tub every day.Turning on the TV required some doing as there was no cable connection. But if you have Apple TV, it was easy to sign into that to access whatever streaming you wanted. Overall this was our best accommodations ever for our family ski vacation and we will definitely keep it on our list whenever we return to Big Sky

The home was very clean, and in a nice area. We were able to find the location easy and enter the home with ease. The pillows were a smidge uncomfortable but that was a very small issue, we just used additional pillows! Property Mangement group was very responsive! We loved the stay!
