Welcome to "Stella Maris Cottage" on Tybee Island, Georgia--a peaceful retreat nestled among some of the best offerings of the North Island. This Cottage is ideal for your “Total Tybee Island” experience. Beach lovers can access the water at the Polk Street beach entrance a short walk away. Learn more about the history and environment of Tybee Island by visiting the Historic Tybee Island Lighthouse and Marine Science Center, a half mile away. Purchase a unique memento from your visit and enjoy a delicious meal at some of Tybee's most popular shops and restaurants right around the corner.
If you would rather relax at home, Stella Maris Cottage has a private back deck, perfect for grilling out and spending the evening under the stars. Share stories and make memories beside the outdoor fire pit. Our large, screened porch overlooks a vast tidal creek. It is the ideal spot for enjoying Tybee breezes in comfort, with plenty of seating, including a dining table big enough for eight. Guests will be delighted by the variety of marine birds that visit the tidal creek.
When you reserve "Stella Maris" you will be given a Tybee Parking Pass that will allow you to park one vehicle at any of the paid parking spots on Tybee - making going to any beach on the island a breeze.
Stella Maris Cottage is a charming four-bedroom home with everything you are looking for in a Tybee vacation getaway. Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms thoughtfully arranged for your comfort. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, and an attached full bathroom, with a large, jetted tub. The two additional upstairs bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds. The fourth bedroom*, with a queen bed, is found on the lower level of the cottage in the “in-law” suite. The suite has a partial kitchen, full bathroom, dining table, and private access to the grilling area on the back side of the home. The suite is perfect for those who do not prefer stairs, teens who want their own space, or a family with small children.
*Guests staying in the in-law suite can access the Cottage's upper level by exterior stairs only. There is no interior staircase connecting the home's upper and lower levels.
There is parking for three vehicles at this home.

Great house! Fit our group comfortably. House had everything we needed for our stay, and for cooking our meals. The house was just a quick walk from the beach, or a quick drive to the more popular beach. The check in and check out process was super easy. The included parking pass was a huge benefit and helped with travel around the island!
