Situated on a hillside with captivating views of Lake City, 28 Peaks provides a haven of privacy and seclusion for you and your guests. Enjoy the warmth of the fire pit and a sitting area located off our 700-square-foot deck. The deck itself boasts a four-person hot tub and an outdoor propane gas grill, creating an inviting outdoor space for relaxation and connection.
Step inside, and the expansive living area showcases vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and generous windows that fill the space with breathtaking mountain vistas that surround Lake City. Enjoy the comfort of our large "log and leather" sofa or unwind in the matching chair and ottoman, meticulously crafted exclusively for 28 Peaks at Rustic Living in Alamosa; perfect for pure relaxation, whether it's after a long day exploring the Alpine Loop or enjoying a cozy winter day.
Our fully equipped kitchen includes the latest in modern appliances, granite and butcher block countertops, a farmhouse-style sink, and a comprehensive selection of cookware. Whether you're preparing a homemade breakfast before a day of adventure or savoring a romantic dinner for two, our kitchen and outdoor gas grill will meet your culinary needs.
When you're ready to sleep, our two comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful sanctuary. The master bedroom features an exceptionally comfortable king-sized bed with direct access to the deck and hot tub, while the second bedroom offers a vaulted and rustic log framed and equally comfortable queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated with mountain-inspired themes and provide ample storage space for your all of your belongings. Adding to your comfort and privacy, each bedroom contains an attached and modernly appropriated full bathroom with glass-door walk-in showers. 28 Peaks was really nice! We enjoyed the view over the city with the mountains in the background. Autumn is a great time to visit Lake City. It's cool, quiet and the aspens are golden and gorgeous. Lots of sights to see. This house is clean and well stocked. Huge kitchen with lots of utensils. We liked how private it was. Rebekah is a great host and very responsive. We'd love to come back.

This is a wonderful property. Spacious well equipped kitchen and family room. The walk in showers in both bedrooms was very nice. Beds were comfortable and the whole house is comfortable. The laundry room is great.

Stayed here from July 14-17 2025. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed with another couple so it was nice to have two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. We brought our SxS to ride the Alpine Loop, and it was super convenient that we were able to ride from the house through town to get to the trails, restaurants, shops etc. The hot tub was also a nice bonus.
