De locatie was schitterend. Uniek om op zo'n plek the verblijven midden in de natuur. Genoten van de stilte, vogels, kikker- en koekkoekgeluiden. Het gebruik van de sloep en de tip om met de sloep boodschappen te doen waren ook een topbeleving. Zeilbootverhuur aan het meer. Prachtig stadje Grou. Fijne communicatie met de eigenaren die je gerust iets mag vragen.
Prima bedden, tegenwoordig kun je matrashoezen kopen die helemaal om de matras heen zitten ter bescherming van de matras (misschien beter dan alleen zo'n beschermer op de bovenkant). Rooster in de bbq was verroest, even een wegwerp gehaald en eigenaren waren blij dat we het doorgaven om te verhelpen.

De woonboot ligt prachtig en rustig gelegen, midden in de natuur. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Met de sloep, die je apart kunt huren, kom je makkelijk in Grou om daar je boodschappen te doen of uiteten te gaan bij een van de vele restaurantjes. Ook het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima geslapen op de comfortabele matrassen.
