Chalet Les Lanchettes

The kitchen was well equipped and had all of the cooking utensils you could possibly need. The bedrooms were a good size and all had enough bedding, towels and beach towels for the hot tub. We liked that games had been left in the lounge and that there was plenty of sofas and dining space for our group of 8.

The flies in the property were a real issue. We could see that they had a few traps around the house to try to resolve it, but they were everywhere. We kept all of the rooms and kitchen very clean, but there were flies in every room. We appreciated the use of the basement for laundry, but found it very odd that the adjoining house also had access to this basement at all times, which gave free access to our chalet. We couldn’t see a key to lock the basement door, so it felt strange that next door could enter the property at any time. The property was further from Morzine town than we had realised, meaning you need a car to get to and from restaurants every evening

Everything was included the owners didn't miss a thing, the location was beautiful, easy to bus routes, shops and local places

no fans in the heat it became very hot ans the flys meant we couldn't open the windows

En gros, tout. La taille du chalet, sa disposition, la très grande pièce ouverte salon - salle à manger - cuisine, le fait qu'il y ait des chambres "dortoirs" et des chambres doubles, toutes dotées d'une salle de douche complète yc wc, l'équipement (vaisselle / verres / couverts / plats / casseroles et ustensiles de cuisine) et les détails qui comptent (sel, épices, huile et vinaigre, sopalin, savons liquides partout, jeux de société...), la terrasse et le jacuzzi... Bref, c'est "plug and play", il y a tout sur place. Echanges très fluides et agréables avec Chrissie (MERCI) avant, pendant et même après le séjour... concentré sur la Spartan et trop court ! Donc tout était au top et envie de revenir !

The chalet was amazing. We were a party of 12 (5 young kids) and we all had a great time. The hot tub was on and nice and warm when we arrived. The BBQ had charcoal, plenty of towels and even slippers ready for getting out of the hot tub. Great communication from Chrissy and very accommodating in terms of check in and check out.

The only downside was the beds. I wouldn’t say they were uncomfortable but I wouldn’t describe them as comfortable either. They were just ok.
