Pro: - toller Ausblick - sehr ruhige Lage - schöner Aussenbereich / Terrasse - sehr schöner Pool (relativ klein, aber für uns zum kurz abkühlen perfekt) - Grill vorhanden - süße Katze - Eselfamilie (können aber laut sein…) - große Küche (könnte aber besser ausgestattet sein, es haben einige alltägliche Dinge gefehlt wie z.B. eine Reibe)

Contra: - der Strom für der Haus wird über einen Generator erzeugt. Das leise Summen des Generators hört man. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft keinen Strom bzw. der Generator war nicht angeschaltet. Daher konnten wir auch nicht das elektrisch betriebene Zufahrtstor öffnen. Wir mussten also erstmal die Hausverwaltung kontaktieren und warten, denn es musste erstmal jemand kommen, um den Generator anzuschalten. Das hätte man auch vor unserer Anreise bereits machen können. - der Generator viel während des Aufenthaltes mehrfach aus. Wir haben darauf geachtet, dass nicht zu viele Geräte gleichzeitig betrieben werden. Nichtsdestotrotz kam es vor, dass der Generator einfach aus ging. Erneutes anschalten haben wir selbst gemacht, stört dennoch, wenn es z.B. nachts passiert oder gerade eine Wäsche an ist, die Spülmaschine läuft etc. - die Zufahrt zum Haus ist sehr kurvig und steil. Die Lage ist nicht sonderlich praktisch, dafür hat man aber seine Ruhe auf dem Grundstück und einen tollen Ausblick.

The house itself is lovely. The layout is well designed, cozy, and it has everything you might need in the kitchen for a comfortable holiday with family or friends.

Unfortunately, this is where the positive aspects end. There are several important issues that future guests should be aware of. First of all, the road leading to the house is extremely difficult. It is definitely not suitable for inexperienced drivers, and having a rental car is absolutely necessary. Walking from the town to the village, or from the village to the house, is not a realistic option. The biggest issue, however, was the hot water. Throughout most of our stay, hot water was available only at certain times of the day, and even then we often had to wait around 10 minutes for it to arrive. Sometimes it never came at all. We never managed to understand how the system worked. We contacted the owners several times for assistance. They came to check and assured us that everything was functioning properly, but during our 7–8 day stay there were issues with hot water almost every day. This was particularly difficult as we were traveling with a child. The swimming pool was also very dirty during the first few days. It was eventually cleaned and became usable, but these are the kinds of issues that can significantly affect a family holiday. Another point worth mentioning is the security deposit. A €300 deposit is required before arrival, which is understandable in case of damages. However, we were informed that it would be refunded within seven days after check-out. In reality, the refund was only processed on the 11 day, and I had to repeatedly follow up and send messages to receive updates. While the deposit was eventually returned, the process was unnecessarily stressful and could have been handled much more professionally. Overall, the house has great potential and is very pleasant, but the problems with accessibility, hot water, maintenance, and the delayed deposit refund made our stay much less comfortable than expected.
