EI02 Coastal Love

Location great for quick access to town amenities by foot, golf cart or car. Cabin is a sturdy older construction with some modern updates. The property management service made the entire process of finding and booking the unit, thru the stay from sending a text of the entry key codes, to the final instructions to pull the trash cans to the curb upon leaving, their accessibility and support was seamless.

For seniors, the staircases to the main entrance and the staircase to get up to view the ocean from the deck, requires traversing 22 steps up and then down. There is a very narrow with a steep 14 degree incline from the road to then enter up to the property that electric golf carts cannot handle. Recommend a gas golf cart. The asphalt driveway pad around the property is pucker tight for turnarounds once up there, with a long bed pickup truck. Best to back into the property on entering. The metal spiral staircase inside the house has two steps at the 5-6 ft level that abut into the walk space to enter or exit from the main hallway. Mind your head! We hung a small windsock on it as a reminder. I hope the cleaner services did not remove it! The living room ceiling fan that helps cool the beautiful huge open wood beamed room and loft space, had worn motor bearings that made turning it on so noisy, we went to ACE hardware on the island and bought a floor fan to use instead.

Everything was great! The house was charming, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed.
