Eco Hotel Samaria , Aguas y Bosques

We had an unforgettable stay there! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness by the amazing people who work there. Azucena and Pacho went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were always ready to help and shared so much of their knowledge and love for the place. They even got us fresh fruits straight from the land — lime, tangerines, and yuca — which made our experience feel even more authentic. They also sell the coffee that is produced there, and what a experience! We brought our own meat and had a barbecue surrounded by the most peaceful environment. Azucena and Pacho guided us through beautiful trails to the waterfalls and made the whole experience truly magical. The place was spotless — clean, well-kept, and clearly cared for with love. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. You have to be there to feel the peace, the beauty, and the connection with nature. The location is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy a remote, tranquil escape. Just be aware: the road to get there is rough, so a high-clearance vehicle, preferably a 4x4, is highly recommended. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s more than just a stay — it’s an experience.

El lugar hermoso y acogedor, una verdadera comunión con la naturaleza, la cabaña pequeña q fue en la q nos hospedamos tenía su propia piscina natural, y el lugar tiene una piscina más grande y un espectacular y masajeador jacuzzi, un café deliciosooooooo y el personal super amables y acogedores!

Que No, tuviera alimentación pero ya lo sabíamos y la cabaña tiene una cocina dotada con todo lo q se necesita,

The place is wonderful for disconnecting—there’s so much to visit nearby. The house is comfortable, but make sure to keep the doors and windows closed, as there are many animals around. The staff is very helpful. It's a great place and highly recommended for a weekend stay. Our house had a natural pool, and we loved it!

The price is a little high for the location, since transportation can be tricky. If you're on vacation, you might need to take a bus from Guatapé or San Rafael and get off along the road toward Piedramontada. From there, it's a 30-minute walk. The walk to the hotel is fairly easy, but the return is much more challenging. If you'd rather not walk, the hotel offers transportation for 150,000 COP.
