Villa Penafirme - Santa Cruz

The place looks better than in the pictures! We were pleasantly surprised about the facilities, location and the communication with the staff. Everything was clean and new, even the kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook, whitch we used because we have two small children.

While we were there we were unlucky enough to have some kind of village festival that was held right on front of our house with music and everything. Of course they were very loud and we had a bit of an issue with the organizers, they even asked us to move our cars from the parking lot in front of the stay but it was pretty easy to find another parking spot. Maybe consider asking the owner / staff if this kind of festival is scheduled to be held when you are there so you know when to avoid it. Other than that everything was perfect, the owner was kind enough to find a way to compensate us for the trouble with the said festival, even though they weren't informed of it either.

Tolles kleines Haus, recht neu renoviert und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze vor der Haustür. Fenster können 100% Lichtdicht abgedunkelt werden.

Häufig laute Gespräche, Motoren im Leerlauf direkt vor der Haustüre durch das Café gegenüber. Leider immer zw 20-23 Uhr so gewesen. Die Agentur im Hinterhof lässt nachts das Licht brennen, was stark in den Flur leuchtet (dieses Fenster lies sich nicht abdunkeln).
