Terry's Villa Nungwi

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Terry's Villa Nungwi was absolutely fantastic! The villa is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing holiday. The peaceful atmosphere, excellent location, and warm hospitality made the experience even more special. The hosts were kind, attentive, and always happy to help. I highly recommend Terry's Villa Nungwi to anyone visiting Zanzibar and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Very nice, modern room with air-conditioning and fan, fridge, mosquito screens at the windows and, unusual but welcome, net curtains. Hot and powerful shower. There is solar power here which is useful for when the power goes off. It was nice to have the small pool to enjoy at the end of a hot dusty day. Upstairs I found an iron and ironing board so I ironed my clothes for the first time in a number of weeks

Wi-Fi not that great. I realised the villa was not at the beach but I hadn’t realised it was situated down a rough unmarked track and neither of my taxi drivers could find it. You can walk to one area of the beach in just a few minutes down an even rougher track but this goes to a very empty, partly rocky, secluded Cove which being so isolated and me being alone I didn’t actually feel comfortable swimming there just in case anything happened. I suppose this wouldn’t be an issue if you were a couple, family or Group. I didn’t enjoy the food much . Don’t rely on the description given of a lovely dinner for $10 . There is no restaurant nearby and arriving late I requested this. A bit reluctantly, I felt, and at first with $15 requested, the hotel provided a small $10 chicken and chips and some fruit.

Our stay at the Terry’s villa was truly wonderful. The service was outstanding, and Terry deserves special recognition for his kindness, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. He made us feel welcome and cared for from the very first moment. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious each morning. The villa was simply very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect — peaceful yet close to everything we needed. They also have solar panels so there is no problem with electricity as in a lot of other stays. Swimming pool is clean and well maintained. We also truly appreciated the great communication with the owners. They were responsive, supportive, and always ready to help at every step. We highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and memorable stay in Zanzibar.
