Your Home by the Sea for 3 in Xylokastro by Filos Inc

English: We were completely satisfied with the accommodation. We really liked the view. The host was quick and kind with us on several occasions. We asked them to raise the balcony sunshade and they came immediately. Later we accidentally left the key inside the lock from the inside, which required a technician to be called, and we did not have to pay the costs. One of the best accommodations in Xylokastro. English: There is a view from the balcony of the church and the mountains. Very atmospheric❤️ Magyar: Teljes mértékben elégedettek voltunk a szállással. A kilátás nekünk nagyon tetszett. A szállásadó többször is gyors és kedves volt velünk. Kértük, hogy húzza fel az erkély napellenzőjét, és azonnal jött. Később véletlenül bent hagytuk a kulcsot a zárban belülről, amihez szerelőt kellett hívni, és a költségeket nem nekünk kellett fizetni. Az egyik legjobb szállás Xylokastroban. A kilátás a templomra és a hegyekre nagyon hangulatos! ❤️

Terrific location. Within walking distance of everything. Within driving distance of many places in 90 minutes. Has everything you need to enjoy a home away from home.

We were not able to use the Internet as well as we would have liked. The host was aware of the slow connection that kept dropping. The host contacted the Internet provider who did declare an outage in the area. It happened over the weekend but the Internet never recovered during the entire week we stayed there. They were kind enough to provide us with a limited 10 GB data plan on a SIM card to keep us connected online during the outage. Otherwise, the place would be a 10 out of 10.

The location was central to our vacation plans and also right by the sea, as advertised. The apartment was just big enough for 3 people and had basic furnishings that we could use to make meals. Plenty of closet space. Close to the town square and shopping of all kinds.

Don't open the balcony screen doors or you will get infested by mosquitos. We made the mistake of doing this during our late April stay and paid dearly with bug bites. 5th floor location with a tiny elevator or 5 flights of stairs wasn't the greatest. Also received a nasty note on our rental car from one of the building tenants about parking. Make sure to park around the corner in the municipal lot. Beds were NOT comfortable at all. Tiny bathroom where you can't open the door all the way because it bumps into the toilet. Washing machine and stove had to be translated due to being in German. Recommend not using the washing machine at all. Use the Mon-Fri laundromat down the street.

A small clean apartment right in the centre of Xilokastro. It had everything one might need for a self-catering holiday including a kitchen with all the necessary utensils (except a frying pan but we didn't need one). The heating was provided by 2 aircons which had been turned on before we arrived, something that we appreciated a lot, since it was cold outside. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Not so important, but it would be lovely to have instructions in Greek or English on how to use the microwave and the washing machine since the buttons only had German on them and we couldn't figure out how to use the microwave. The mattress was a bit too hard. But in general everything was fine.
