Greens Mill Hideaways

The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the peaceful location and how easy the check-in and check-out process was. Communication was excellent, and it was a great place to relax after long days at our daughter’s softball tournament.

Nothing significant. We had a very enjoyable stay and found everything we needed during our visit.

The property is located in a quiet area/neighborhood and it was exactly as pictured. It was clean and nicely decorated. It was more than enough room for my family and I, there were 5 adults and 1 child in our party. The hosts were very welcoming and also very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

It was a nice little basement apartment. The things that bothered us was the cleanliness and the smell. I’ve never stayed anywhere with more air fresheners and air cleaners, several per room. I was assured that the unit was brand new and absolutely no mold. I didn’t test the ceiling tiles but they have definitely been wet in the past or currently and they are dark, which appears to be mold. Under the bathroom sink, there was so much filth. I normally don’t check such areas, but I dropped the lid to my toothpaste and that’s where it fell. When someone used the bathroom, #2, it’s like from there the sewage system backed up and the smell was there for the last 3 days. I didn’t complain because we were unpacked and we were able to tolerate it for 3 more days. The handle on the microwave was absolutely filthy. The dishes were greasy, we ended up buying paper plates and plastic silverware, the fridge handle was also filthy. There’s a gap under the door which lets silverfish and a centipede in that we killed. Another person left a review and the owner stated that cleanliness was their top priority. That is not true at all, unless standards of cleanliness are much different than me and the other person. I believe on day 2 someone was staying upstairs. The music was ridiculous until 2 am. But what would’ve been the point to complain at this point? We just dealt with it. I was hesitant to leave a review with this information because I don’t want to ruin a small business. But these are things that need to be fixed and I was contacted for a review. If I find the pictures I took, I’ll update my review with them.
