Collecting keys a pain
Unfortunately, we didn’t love this place at all. First of all after booking, you find out you have to collect the keys from Stegna about 10km away. They also have to be dropped back by 10.30 after checkout . Annoying if the traffic is bad as it is on the weekends. If you don’t speak Polish, it’s also annoying as you get paperwork in Polish when you collect the keys. It’s much more time consuming to translate printed information than electronic information. We didn’t quite comprehend all the instructions or the property location as it’s not well identified from the road. In fairness, the staff did their best answering our multiple queries. Although the pictures online are accurate, the décor in the living area felt dated once we were in there. There was washing machine pods but no hand soap. There were dishwasher pods and washing up liquid but no drying cloth. No welcome tea or coffee let alone milk or a biscuit. There were no blinds fitted to the Velux windows in the bedroom either so bring a sleep mask. Booking.com listed free wifi for our room but there was none at all. Staff delivered a router the next day after we complained. Unless you are desperate to stay in this area near the beach, which we weren’t, I’d look elsewhere. We’ve stayed in much better places in Poland for a lot less money. Disappointing.
