A beautifully designed and well-equipped home in a peaceful location with fantastic hosts!

What a gorgeous property! We've just come back from a 3 night stay while on our road trip & everything about this property has been done to such a high level. The hosts have done a great job - the decor is gorgeous, the location is great & the bed is one of the comfiest we've ever slept in! Location: Short walk from the town with shops & restaurants. Quiet street away from traffic opposite a lovely little river. 30 mins from the Nurburgring which was the purpose of our visit but with Rock am Ring on we couldn't get anything closer, but I'd stay here again despite the distance as it's a stunning drive to the ring. Property: Stunning decor throughout, clean spacious rooms, plenty of utensils, kitchen appliances etc you could need including a coffee maker with pods. Towels supplied and some toiletries which was a nice touch. Nice big driveway for parking. Lovely balcony stretching from the bedroom to the living room overlooking the garden and the pool. Very comfy bed, big spacious shower and a bath in the bathroom. Free wifi to use during your stay too - even had a wireless phone charger in the bedroom. Host: The host was great, met us on arrival with the key as they live next door. Showed us round the property and highlighted any important bits of information for us. Very friendly & accommodating. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend - we may even make it a yearly visit!

Comfortable stay

The Lodge was better than we expected. It looks much more beautiful than in the pictures. The location is also very quiet and peaceful. There is a small river flooding in front of the Lodge. Nice place to take a walk around. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The house and towels smelled very nice. Just exceptional! Will definitely book again when we visit nearby areas.

The first night was very hot and humid. There are small portable coolers available but it wasn't enough. Maybe an AC or fan would be better.

I liked everything, the host's attention from the beginning of the booking. Despite my late arrival, the owner was kind enough to show me around the house. The house is in a convenient and beautiful location, very nicely furnished and tidy. I am 100% satisfied that I chose this apartment.

•nette Vermieterin •tolle Einrichtung •gepflegt und sehr sauber ( Geschirr, Gläser Gewürze sauber ) —> teilweise schon anders erlebt, dass es total knösig war •toll ausgestattet ( Bademäntel, Handtücher, Föhn, Kosmetiktücher, Q-Tips, Pinzette, Kaffe, Tee, Alufolie, Backpapier, eine nette Aufmerksamkeit) •sehr modern • vor dem Haus fließt ein Bach ( total schön) •Mayen liegt super gut, um vorne nahegelegene Wanderungen zu machen •Ausflug an die Mosel ist auch zu empfehlen und nicht so weit •Supermärkte , Drogerien in der Nähe •Stadt total süß und schöne Geschäfte

Het is een ruime woning waarbij je alles voor jezelf hebt. De omgeving is prachtig en de host heeft zeer goede tips voor activiteiten buiten de deur.

Heerlijk verblijf op rustig gelegen locatie in Mayen

Heerlijk en comfortabel ingerichte accommodatie; werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien! Ruime kamers en hele goede bedden. Rustige ligging op loopafstand van centrum van Mayen. Parkeren op eigen terrein. Last but not least: Super vriendelijke en behulpzame Gastvrouw die zowel aankomst als verblijf tot in de puntjes geregeld heeft. Wij hebben genoten!!

Een prettig verblijf.

Heel mooi en stijlvol ingericht appartement. Met een klein balkon. De keuken was goed uitgerust en er was koffie en thee aanwezig. Bij ontvangst een flesje wijn en wat lekkers. Op loopafstand van het centrum.

Voor de ramen van de badkamer was geen raambekleding aangebracht. Dit geeft het idee dat je veel inkijk hebt.

Comfortabel hygiënisch verblijf

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf bij Megina Lodge. Het huisje is ruim en hygiënisch, het bed is groot en super comfortabel. De host, Esther, was erg sympathiek, voorzag allerlei kleine attenties (flesje Prosecco, appels, chocolade, snoepjes, ...) en gaf goede tips voor wandelingen en restaurants. We zouden dit verblijf aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Bemerkenswert!

Die Wohnung ist in einem alleinstehenden Einfamilienhaus, in welchem die Küche sowie das Gäste-WC sich im Erdgeschoss befinden. Über eine Treppe erreicht man dann den geräumigen 1. Stock, wo ein großes exklusives Schlafzimmer, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit abgetrennten Abteil mit Esstisch und Stuhlgruppe sowie ein wunderschönes Badezimmer auf einen wartet. Der Balkon ist ebenfalls im 1. Stock und man hat einen schönen Blick in den grünen Garten, welcher nicht zugänglich ist. Die Wohnung zeichnet sich aus durch absolute Sauberkeit und Vollständigkeit. Von einer perfekt ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zu vielen Handtüchern, gefüllten Schubladen mit Infomaterial bezüglich Eifel, Kaffee und Tee, Begrüßungskörbchen (mit Obst, Snacks, Wasser & Lillet) und liebevollen Accessoires hat man hier Gastgeber, die einem den Aufenthalt einfach nur "versüßen" wollen. Der Weg in die schöne Innenstadt ist kurzläufig, die Nähe zu netten Restaurants ebenfalls. Wir sind von der Vermieterin mit vielen guten Tipps bezüglich Wanderstrecken und Fahrradrouten erstklassig beraten worden und hatten somit tolle 12 Tage, an dem kein Tag in unserem Urlaub langweilig war. Diese Unterkunft mit solchen Gastgebern ist definitiv bemerkenswert und eine Reise wert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Extravagante geräumige Wohnung in superzentraler Lage: in Natur und Stadtnähe!

Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Vermieter haben rasch reagiert und waren sehr entgegenkommend. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist extravagant und nicht alltäglich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Lage in Mayen ist außerordentlich gut. Das Bad war sehr sauber und einladend, die Größe sehr angenehm (große Dusche & Wanne). Positiv war auch, dass es zusätzlich zum Bad eine Gästetoilette in der unteren Etage gab! Das Esszimmer verfügt über einen schönen großen Tisch, der zum Frühstück einlädt.

Die Küche ist ist in der unteren Etage, sodass man stets Dinge mit dem Tablett ins Esszimmer (obere Etage) bringen muss. Das sollte man sportlich sehen - man gewöhnt sich daran. Dass es in der Küche keine normale Filterkaffeemaschine gab, empfanden wir als schade - auch im Hinblick auf Nachhaltigkeit. Positiv war, dass der Vermieter Kaffeekapseln zur Verfügung stellt.

Die Gastgeberin hat mich trotz bereits erfolgter Schlüsselübergabe, persönlich begrüßt und einige wertvolle Tipps mitgegeben. Sehr angenehme Unterhaltung mit ihr. Es wirkt alles sehr großzügig.
