My stay was very disappointing and I WOULD NOT recommend this apartment, or the company who runs it.
This apartment had not been cleaned and I had to buy products and clean it myself. The Reps don't speak good english and did almost nothing to help me. I had to request all new bedding and take into account we had waited 5 hours for the 5pm check in with no where to put luggage. There is no wifi and they did not supply the Kitchen "maintenance" kit as promised with their checkin email or toilet paper. You pay for towels unless supply your own as I did. Although a good location I absolutely DO NOT recommend either this Apartment No:514 until it is thoroughly refurbished and deep cleaned and I DO NOT recommended the company who manages this and a lot of apartments in Avoriaz called maeva.com. This company on every level ignored my desperate complaints or fobbed me off but I did book through booking.com who were far more sympathetic but relied on responses from maeva.com so eventually I received a refund equivalent to a day and was not charged the £85 cleaning fee. However taking into account the exhaustion upon arrival and then having to spend hours requesting a new apartment, clean bedding, cleaners, buying products to clean, missing dinner , not sleeping being thoroughly deflated for the first 48 hours of my holiday I hope this gives all potential customers the information necessary not to be caught in the same situation as me. If you are by some stoke of bad luck complaints for this company are through [email protected].
The apartment is very tired and needs new mattresses, repainting, a new carpet and a thorough deep clean removing thick dust, cobwebs with all the reported broken items repaired or replaced. In addition the shower room which is seperate to the main bathroom cannot be used due to an overpowering smell of sewage which despite complaints and a bottle of bleach down drains remained all week but I kept the door closed and laid a towel at the base to contain the smell. Also the sofa beds are broken so there is one double, 2 bunk beds and I slept on the actual couch so CANNOT accommodate 7 people as advertised.
