Great location ideal for our break in Sydney. Very handy to have washing and drying facilities as we’d been travelling a lot from place to place.

Bed was comfortable enough and we slept pretty well but sheets came off the mattress a bit too easily.

Everything was just great, really comfortable bed the sofa in the lounge was just as good. The place had everything I needed 😃

Apartment was spacious, and had a good location. The staff member I had to speak to a few times was friendly and responsive. My main reason for booking this property was its garage which has a height clearance of 2.1m (good for a van) - this is hard to come by in Sydney!

I don’t really ever bring up negatives in reviews, but my experience here was odd. 1. Non-refundable damage fee not disclosed before booking: At the time of booking and even now, the property policy on the booking.com page for this property is “Refundable damage deposit” of $1,000 (pretty excessive, but it’s disclosed). However, when doing the pre-check-in via their app, they only provide their one new option of a ~$34 NON-REFUNDABLE damage waiver fee. I think it’s pretty unethical to only disclose 1 day before check-in that there’s a non-refundable fee - if that’s the only option you’re allowing, it needs to be built in to your prices or disclosed before booking. I called them and they arranged for the $1,000 deposit separately. 2. Keys not available at check-in: I turned up at 3pm and the keys weren’t in the lockbox and I had to wait 30mins outside while I waited for the phone to be answered. 3. Garage remote: wasn’t available for 2 of the 3 nights I was there. The building manager (not the property manager) had taken the keys and garage remote when doing maintenance and hadn’t returned them. The Property manager gave me access to the apartment’s spare key, the building manager let me into the garage remotely and said he’d return the garage remote the following day - which he didn’t do. Thankfully I didn’t need my car that day (they knew that, but they didn’t know if I’d need my car the day after - I’d have needed to call them to remotely allow me out if I did). 4. The bed broke when I sat on the corner to tie my shoes. A middle support properly collapsed and the mattress went straight up on an angle. 5. Noise & light: the blinds from the bedroom let too much light in from the street lights outside - a secondary curtain would benefit this room SO much. Given it’s a first floor apartment, you do hear the street noise and drunk people singing as they walk up the street (each night).
