About this house rental
This splendid property on the banks of the Loire awaits you, 160 km from Paris. 1h30 by train from Paris Bercy - Briare at 6 km - and 2h by car).
A large charming residence of the last century of 450 m2, our family home is located on the heights of the village of Chatillon-sur-Loire and offers an exceptional view of the latter, from the terrace on the first floor.
The Colombier is open to lovers of space and light with its two crossing facades and its veranda. A paradise!
The accommodation
Total sleep: 12 people, divided into 6 bedrooms and 1 office with a single bed if needed.
On the first floor:
A large cathedral living room with a large fireplace, sofas and armchairs.
An open-plan kitchen and dining room.
A 35m2 veranda full of tropical plants, offering views of the rear garden and pool, with a lounge area and dining table.
A large library with sofa, armchairs and games table.
1 office.
1 shower room with sink and toilet.
On the 1st floor
Right wing:
2 bedrooms with double bed and their integrated shower rooms (shower and sink)
1 children's bedroom with 3 single beds, 2 of which are bunk beds, and a washbasin.
Toilets.
Left wing:
1 bedroom with a large double four-poster bed and its toilet
1 bedroom with 2 single beds
1 large bathroom with bathtub.

A south-facing terrace overlooking the garden and the village, absolutely ideal for an aperitif at sunset or long conversations in front of the stars...

A shower room with sink, shower and toilet.

1 garden in the front with a large terrace and two tables for breakfast in the sun.
1 garden at the back, with a shaded pergola for dining, 1 electric barbecue, garden furniture.
1 fenced swimming pool without vis-à-vis with adjoining garden furniture and deckchairs.

Kitchen: Hob, 1 combi oven, 1 fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Coffee maker, toaster, etc.
Non-smoking accommodation, only outside.
Pets are not allowed.
Hobbies: In addition to billiards and piano, 1 television, 1 mini-hi-fi system, board games. Many books in the library at your disposal during your stay. Please put them back in their place when you leave, they are arranged in alphabetical order!

A friend or family member will be in charge of welcoming you. We will be at your disposal by phone during your stay if necessary.
Linen is provided. Please unmake the beds and group the linen when you leave in the kitchen.

Discover the sumptuous landscapes along the Loire and its canals, including the famous listed site of Mantelot at 15' on foot, and the Bridge-Canal of Briare at 10' by car.
Walks or bike rides along the navigation canals, possibility of navigation aboard a traditional boat on the Loire, discovery of the wild and edible plants of the region, flight of Ulm over the Loire, kayaking, etc.
Visit the cellars of the Coteaux du Giennois at 4 km and Sancerre at 30 km, the village of Chavignol, etc.
Traveler access
The Colombier is an essential place for our family to get together. The house is full of souvenirs, homemade paintings, flea market objects found over the years. It has a rustic side that makes all its charm, far from the traditional rental standards.
You will feel "at home". It is therefore reserved for guests who respect beautiful stones and the family spirit. Thank you.
You will have access to all the rooms of the house, except for the attic, the garage and some locked cupboards. Depending on the number of tenants, we will also close some rooms.
Other remarks
There are a complete house rules that we will send you a few days before your arrival. We ask you to read them and then return them to us signed.
