Welcome to our newly renovated beach cottage, nestled in the charming Avalon Beach community just off Avalon Drive. Our thoughtfully designed coastal retreat caters to a variety of vacationers, making it perfect for single families seeking an affordable escape, couples looking for a romantic getaway, and small groups of friends in search of a year-round retreat.

Inside our cottage, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom for your stay. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom now has two twin beds (updated photos coming soon!). The cottage accommodates up to four guests, making it an ideal fit for families or small groups. We’re also planning winter renovations to add an additional bedroom and bathroom, which will make the space even more versatile in the future.

The heart of our cottage is the spacious, well-lit open-concept kitchen and living area, which flows seamlessly to a front porch adorned with cozy rocking chairs and a delightful daybed swing – the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a good book. This inviting space is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together, whether you’re here as a family, a couple, or with a group of friends.

In addition to our comfortable accommodations, we offer modern amenities to enhance your stay. Electric vehicle owners will appreciate the convenience of a Level 2 EV charger. For added security, a discreet outdoor security camera is located above the porch entrance door, monitoring only the driveway and entry stairs to ensure peace of mind while maintaining your privacy.

For those looking to savor the beauty of the beach, our cottage is just a short walk from Bay Drive, where you can enjoy breathtaking Kill Devil Hills sunsets that paint the sky with vibrant colors. When it’s time to hit the sandy shores, you’ll find easy access to public beach locations nearby – explore a different spot each day and discover the unique charm of the coastline. We’re also conveniently located near shopping and dining, with favorites like Duck Donuts, Kill Devil Grille, and Black Pelican just a quick drive away.
