Arriving in the early hours, I desperately tried contacting the provided WhatsApp and call numbers, but received no answer from either. The situation became increasingly distressing as I found myself facing a group of barking dogs (about what sounded like seven of them from a close distance), which, given my phobia, left me paralyzed with fear. To make matters worse, it began to rain, leaving me soaked and still stranded. In a desperate attempt, I contacted my sister in Africa, who, after reaching out to them using the provided contacts, finally managed to get their attention, leading to my eventual assistance. The entire ordeal felt like a scene from a horror movie. the security guy did deeply apologise and was super kind hence my rating.

Our flight home departed at 4.40 am and we chose to rent this room for the previous evening, to be near Zanzibar airport. Took effort for our taxi driver to find, and the approach with a gates and a guard was a bit scary - but the stay was great. Super warm welcome. Immediate access to wifi. Easy to pay. Strong confirmation of our taxi and we had a handy knock on the door for our taxi - all very reassuring in the middle of the night. In the evening we walked a few minutes to the airport to eat at the 24 hour cafe. We were recommended the chicken Biryani and it was good. Sad to leave Zanzibar, but being this close to the airport meant everything was easy and straightforward.

Just a simple room, but exactly what we wanted. I sat and did some work in the middle communal room - all very good.

Very accommodating host. Our flight was delayed and she let us stay at the property longer and keep our luggage there.
