Splendido appartamento a due passi dal centro con terrazza e garage

The location was good- a short walk to town. The apartment was a good size and the outside wrap-around deck was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee.

The Real Estate agent was proactive about helping us get the keys but the lock box was difficult to find and once we arrived at the apartment and texted the agent some questions they never replied until our trip was over. the beds were not very comfortable and they did not provide any toilet paper or any bathroom amenities. It would have been nice to provide some coffee pods and directions on how to work the machine. Also this is up a flight of stairs so be prepared to carry your bags.

We stayed in the apartment as a party of 6 and that was the maximum it was intended for. We generally felt that sufficient space was available and furnishing was comfortable. Most of us also were very impressed by the warmth of the bedding. The location was very convenient for us, being close to both the city centre and the curling stadium, where we were attending the Olympic competitions.

I had warned the hosts that my phone relies on public WiFi for Internet connectivity while away from home. Despite this warning, instructions were sent to WhatsApp much later than agreed upon, making access to them difficult. Furthermore as the location of the lock box was given only as coordinates, we did not know exactly what we were looking for. The coordinates led us to the middle of a parking lot that was about 40 metres away from the actual building that held the lock box. The kitchen was a bit cramped and some supplies that we had expected to be available needed to be requested extra (toilet paper, tea towels and oven mitts). Heating also did not seem to be available, despite temperatures of around -5 C, so sweaters had to be warn while inside.

The location is good, the parking is good, the view is lovely, the apartment is cosy enough but the kitchen was tiny, and the beds not great.

Despite advising the property there were 5 of us, only 4 beds were ready on arrival. They had to go for more sheets and we had to make up an extra bed ourselves, not such a big deal. However there was old food left in the fridge. It was very dark and a little musty when we arrived, this could have been resolved by the host opening the blinds and windows before we arrived. I think it's not correct to call this a 3 bedroom apartment, when one 'room' is actually a living room with two beds that covert to sofas, and the other 'room' is the smallest bunk room I have ever seen, and not suitable for two adults. It was difficult to contact the host company on departure, not very responsive.
