Fontainebleau Las Vegas, MICHELIN Key Award Hotel

Everything was clean well maintained.

It’s too far from strip. Found myself really far from things I wanted to do.

La Fontaine is bright, clean and easy. Pancake, fruit platter and sandwich are great. if only they can extend the hour to 2:30 instead of 2. Mother Wolf : outstanding! Very high end Italian pastas. The ambiance matched the quality of the food perfectly. Komodo: duck is phenomenal, wine selection is impressive. The Collins piano bar added the perfect touch of elegance to the evening. I would love to see KYU lean into afternoon offering- afternoon high tea? something a bit more adult oriented for guest looking to unwind in mid day.

Room upgrade feel a bit short of expectations -I am VERY UNHAPPY that the " bleau king " room I stayed this time didnt have a Chaise Lounge chair nor a bed end bench set up like the website images depict. I'd stayed at the property back in May and had a wonderful chaise lounge chair in my room then, which added a lot of comfort and elegancy, that amenity was missing. So it is unclear what exactly the upgrade is?? We also had some thunderstorms during our stay so the lifeguards had to blow the whistle and clear the pool few times-understandably for safety but a bit disappointing because we booked our flight early in order to swim. And with the toilet flush being on the stronger side with some splashback, it added up to " wet " moments than we were hoping for on this trip. Over all, we do like Fontainebleau a lot. It has a lovely French-inspired elegance, paired with tailored, gentlemanly British-style detailing inside out. Very polished and sophisticated.

The hotel is clean and smells nice, modern facilities, security at every door, the carpets are clean and the room is clean. Room service was responsive and the rooms are done fast. The room has everything you need. This hotel is far away from the buzzing part of the strip and close to the conference center if that's why you're in Vegas for. The bars and restaurants of the hotel are nice but you need to get a spot first which can be hard at busy times.

The minibar charges you the moment you move/remove an item from the tray, even if you want to check the label. There was no room inside the mini-fridge to store my own products which was annoying as hell. There's no breakfast option you can include in your stay which is the most annoying. For breakfast you have to check the local restaurants, book in advance or get on the line which is exactly what you don't want to do in the morning.
