Perfect for a lovely Valentines weekend away with family. Large open plan kitchen with large dining table and Sofa made

The location was great as we were doing activities all weekend at Resorts World. The apartment was huge and was very clean and comfortable. Convenient parking right outside apartment. Loads of storage space to hang clothes, put cases/overnight bags etc.

Nice and clean, comfy and close to the NEC

Apartment was clean and tidy and beds were comfy. That's all we really needed when staying over for one night due to work.

Getting the code for the key box was more awkward than we would have liked. We were asked to call to receive the code on arrival but were confused when calling it appeared to be an answering phone, so I left a message and hung up. With no return call within 5 minutes I tried again and had the same experience for more than 20minutes. It was dumb luck that when leaving yet another message I didn't hang up and then my call was put though. It wasn't an answering machine, but a spam screening service. derp. :( The host then promptly answered but the line was terrible. I kept hearing my own voice back very loudly which meant getting the location of the key box and the code from the host very difficult. I would have much preferred to have the code emailed to me on the day of arrival rather than the above stressful situation when you've been travelling and working all day. My only other criticism was that there was something up with either the water or the kettle as our tea tasted funny in the morning and we couldn't drink it.

Spacious flat in good location for NEC

This is lovely big flat with a dedicated parking space outside. Great location for NEC which is a short drive away. Local pub was nice for dinner.

Communication from the owner regarding the bed layout could have been prior to the day of arrival to ensure the right information given in a timely way. Unfortunately as a result one of our party had to sleep on the fold out bed rather than a proper single. Also lacking a couple of items like bath/shower mats, enough chairs to sit round the table and toilet roll.

Weird and unexpected things occurred during the stay from the host

The accommodation itself was nice and clean, and overall the place was comfortable. However, there were a few issues during the stay that I think future guests should be aware of.

After I had already paid in full through Booking.com, the host requested an additional £100 deposit to be sent directly to her personal bank account. This felt quite sketchy and unexpected, especially as it wasn’t clearly explained beforehand or handled through the Booking.com platform. The host also complained that the heating had been set to 30 degrees, despite there being no instructions provided about temperature limits or guidance on how the heating should be used, which felt unfair. Another confusing issue was being charged an extra £4 even though I booked for five people and only four actually turned up. Since I had already selected and paid for five guests, this additional charge didn’t make sense. While the property itself was good, these issues with unexpected charges and unclear rules affected the overall experience.

Lovely apartment with lots of room, well looked after.

The whole property was clean and tidy, both beds were comfy and the sofa was too. the Facilities were very good and the location to a local shop was handy as well. Its a second flood apartment so a few stairs are involved but only a few that made it nice and quiet.

slightly easier parking, there was an allocated space but it was a little tricky to get into with a larger car. (small cars would be fine)

A good stay in a comfortable property in a quiet location. We would book again.

No breakfast provided - self catering

Could do with a bit more equipment e.g. there was only one saucepan, oven gloves would be helpful as would a bath mat in the bathroom and bedside tables with reading lamps would be great. Also, one of the blinds in the main room was broken (no sash pull). Just small things that would enhance an otherwise excellent property.

The location was great for the NEC. Lovely spacious apartment.

Allocated parking space was not available as someone else was parked in it. Dishwasher was dirty on arrival. Dirty crockery and cutlery. No teatowel in kitchen or toilet rolls in bathrooms. Dining table needed a wipe down.

Really comfortable, peaceful - great place to unwind after working hard setting up an exhibition!

The apartment was an easy drive from the NEC and provided a very comfortable night's accommodation - the apartment was spotlessly clean and blissfully quiet with plenty of space to sit and two good size rooms. There is no outside space but the view is pleasant and green. We walked out to find an evening meal at the local pub which was welcoming and there is a local shop that is open late to buy essentials. The shower was excellent and there was shampoo/conditioner and clean towels available. So much nicer than a hotel. We had a van so we couldn't use the parking space provided - but there was plenty of parking available on the road outside.

I couldn't find a tea towel - but there was a dishwasher and this is hardly a complaint - I would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend it. The apartment was so clean, I didn't want to leave it a mess when I left!

Spacious and comfortable.

So much space and really comfy beds. Staying with a work colleague so 2 bathrooms was great. 20 minute walk into Solihull centre. Parking space was a bonus rather than parking on the street.

Had to empty the dishwasher on arrival, dirty plates in the cupboard, breadcrumbs all over the shelf where the toaster was kept and I had to wipe down the dining table before eating.
