Very large apartment clean, lovely big towels - just remember to take tea & coffee as there is non there, but everything else such as shampoo and shower gel. Very good value for money and easy to travel to NEC.

Great location and apartment

We had difficulty contacting the host for the code to the key safe, we were asked to call when we arrived at the site , we tried calling and waited for 30 mins . In the end we left the location and were phoned approx 45 mins after the initial attempt of trying to make contact and we were provided with the code. We returned to the property. It would have been easier it the code was sent in the email that was sent earlier in the day with the property details.

The accommodation itself was nice and clean, and overall the place was comfortable. However, there were a few issues during the stay that I think future guests should be aware of.

After I had already paid in full through Booking.com, the host requested an additional £100 deposit to be sent directly to her personal bank account. This felt quite sketchy and unexpected, especially as it wasn’t clearly explained beforehand or handled through the Booking.com platform. The host also complained that the heating had been set to 30 degrees, despite there being no instructions provided about temperature limits or guidance on how the heating should be used, which felt unfair. Another confusing issue was being charged an extra £4 even though I booked for five people and only four actually turned up. Since I had already selected and paid for five guests, this additional charge didn’t make sense. While the property itself was good, these issues with unexpected charges and unclear rules affected the overall experience.
