Наивысшая оценка ежедневной свежей утренней выпечки к завтраку Месторасположение очень удобное для пеших прогулок, так и для использования общественного транспорта ( до остановок автобуса, трамвая и метро мин 10 неторопливого шага), такси тоже там же, до стоянки прогулочных катеров мин 15 пешком. До большого торгового комплекса Galata мин 20 пешком, или пару остановок на транспорте

для тех кто не любит (или не может) крутых лестниц, здесь винтовая лестница от входа в дом до террасы (7 этажей). Здание не новое с возрастными отметками. Место морское, поэтому толпы чаек орут с утра до позднего вечера. Немолодой водопровод не дает высокого напора воды вечером.

It was nice to have arranged pick-up at the airport. Appartment is very well located and has amazing view at Bosphorus. I also liked it has many pieces of art from all over the world. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was really nice to have everything available for the living from washing machine and dishwasher up to all necessary plates, bowls etc. so you can really feel yourself like at home. In general stay felt very cozy.

It would be nice to have deep cleaning done as well as some elements need maintenance.

Our host arranged for us to be picked up at the airport which made it very easy for us to get to the property. We were even allowed early/immediate access which was a blessing after a 20 hour or so flight. Once there the driver carried our bags to the apartment which was fabulous given it's on the third or fourth floor of the building. The owner even arranged for the bags to be carried back down on checkout which for us was a bonus. We found the owner easy to contact if there were any issues and the response was always very prompt. For us, the location couldn't have been any better - close to the tram, shops and cafe's. Taksim is about 15 minutes walk or you can get the funicular which is about 5 minutes away. Each morning at about 09:00 breakfast would arrive. On top of this, the fridge was very well stocked which we didn't expect. Lots of linen was available, a washing machine and dryer with plenty of detergent made our stay that much better. The property may not suit everybody - if stairs are an issue for you then you may need to look elsewhere as there is no elevator. I have rated the property at 8/10 but would have given it 9/10 except for the didn't like below. Would we stay there again? Yes if the bath/shower is fixed and given we are getting older, stairs don't become a problem.

The bath/shower, The first time we used the bath it caused minor flooding when we emptied it. In fairness, the owner immediately sent someone around to fix it. Unfortunately the problem wasn't fixed and we had the same issue next day. Again someone came around very quickly to have another look. Unfortunately the issue was not going to be a simple fix so we could only use the "shower". Using the "shower" was itself a problem - it's a rose on the end of a hose attached to a tap (see photo). Sadly it's not fitted to a wall, you have to hold it in one hand and wash yourself with the other. I wasn't happy but got by, my wife on the other hand hated it especially when washing her hair which is fair enough. The water temperature/quantity of hot water also needs to be looked at.
