Fantastic property, amazing hosts. Great location for our project and wish we could have stayed there longer.

Spacious with good amenities, comfortable bed and games room. Right next to the coastal path so was good for dog walking. Heating was on on arrival so felt quite welcoming straight away given how cold it was outside.
Nothing major, maybe kitchen could do with a more thorough check/clean in between guests as some of the pans, utensils etc in the drawers were dirty and microwave had heavy spatter from whatever the previous visitors had been cooking.

What a beautiful property in a beautiful location close to the seaside. It was just the perfect place to celebrate our brother’s wedding. Loved every single bit of the of the house.
Could do with more bathrooms but just a minor thing as everything else was fantastic.

This place is a hidden gem about 30 seconds walk from the sea. The whole town had a power cut during our stay. We used the candles to play pool and board games by candlelight. The house is spacious, quirky decorated and there was a lovely welcome package left by the owners. We will 100% be back to stay again. We are nearly finished a family trip around the UK. This house was by far our family favourite place we stayed and it was also the cheapest!

How clean and well kept the house was, the little touches also like the basket with wine etc that was there for us to enjoy.
The upstairs bathroom with the skulls, in the middle of the night not very inviting, but other than that perfect.

Lack of blinds in top bedroom

lovely large house, with lots of space. very near the coast.
the kitchen is great, the rooms are large and bright. everything was clean.
comms was good, check in was easy and helpful.
The size and nature of the rooms would allow different families/age groups to enjoy their own space if required.
minor quibbles only : the single bathroom could be an issue if lots of people need a wash (there is also a separate loo)
The loft dorma could do with a blind.

This terrace house is situated in a top spot in the headland with fabulous sea views. There is walking path along the coastline which spans a good 3 kms. The house is spacious with a huge modern kitchen. The main bedroom bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in this trip. There were also some complimentary treats which was not expected but a nice touch.
We were disappointed with the lack of basic toiletries such as hand soap (or dispenser) in the bathroom, upstairs toilet and kitchen sink. As travellers from overseas this is something I always look for on booking.com so unnecessary travel items like soap, shampoo and/or body wash can be left behind.

Excellent property all round.

Bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. Views were amazing. A larger sofa or easy chairs with a nest of tables in the basement room would be useful. There are a lot of stairs! Loved the box of goodies to welcome us. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at No. 20 The Headland in Hartlepool, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and a charming, peaceful atmosphere.
The property itself is beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel like a true home away from home. Although I didn’t meet the host in person, the communication was excellent, and everything was arranged seamlessly. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into ensuring guests have a perfect experience.
The surrounding area is rich in history and has a delightful sense of community. It’s the perfect base for exploring Hartlepool and the North East coast. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or an adventure by the sea, No. 20 The Headland is an excellent choice.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone and look forward to returning in the future!

Where to start, a big and beautiful building, on the headland, next to the battery museum.
Fantastic hosts, who can’t do enough to help.
Only a £7 taxi ride from the marina.
Nothing to dislike about this place.
