Haus Himmelfahrt

Haus Himmelfahrt e' un angolo di paradiso immerso nella natura. Quiete e accoglienza sono le parole d'ordine appena arriverete. La casa è originale e autentica allo stesso tempo, il nostro appartamento era in perfette condizioni, dotato di tutto ciò che serve...siamo stati benissimo durante il nostro soggiorno e speriamo di riuscire a tornare il prossimo anno. Grazie a Sara e René per la loro professionalità e discreta presenza.

We arrived at Haus Himmelfahrt with our toddler and had a feeling that we had come to visit our South Tyrolean family we had never known we had. There was something wonderfully familiar about it: we felt welcome, peaceful and at home. Perhaps it was the silence: no traffic at night and, when darkness came, it was properly dark. Perhaps it was the smell of natural wood which felt a little like aromatherapy. Or perhaps it was all the small things that had been carefully chosen by the hosts who cared. We liked both the aesthetic experience and being surrounded by history and art of the place, and the practical elements like the natural bed linen, the wooden kitchen utensils, or the strong water pressure. We thought: this is how we would do it at home. It is a rare pleasure to travel somewhere that gives you the comforts of your own home, and then adds a few things you wish you had there. Travelling with a toddler is not always synonymous with relaxation. Yet here it somehow worked. For our child, it was a natural place to be: outside, exploring, with space and nature around. We walked the paths around the house and watched the evening light and sunset over the Dolomites. The pace of the place slowly became our pace too. We stayed for far too short. Perhaps that is the only thing we would change.

The owner is very kind and friendly. The room is so clean and nice decorated. The kitchen is equipped very well. The shower is perfect.

Nothing

Alles wirklich erstklassig. Nur muss man wissen, dass es keinen Restaurantbetrieb gibt, sondern die Ferienwohnungen für Selbstversorger sind. Aber 15 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt gibt es alle nötigen Geschäfte, Restaurants, und eine Gaststätte ist 5 Minuten weg. Wandermöglichkeiten direkt ab dem Haus, tolle Szenerie. Ich werde sicher wiederkommen
