FLH Downtown Comfy Apartment

Very central. Good amenities Good size

It could be a bit noisy, the lift makes a loud noise when it arrives on the floor - so anyone leaving early morning from the apartment above would disturb. Needed another sofa! Not enough comfy chairs to relax, if more than 2 of you. Coffee Machine, was a bit complicated and we never managed to get the right coffee for it. Would be helpful to be left a sample so know what to buy.

I was not accommodated in this apartment because four days before my trip I received a message informing me that there was an issue, and I was offered accommodation at FLH Heart of Rossio Units, floor 4, ap. D, located on Rossio Square. Therefore, this review is for the Rossio apartment. Exceptional location in a beautiful building, right next to many tourist attractions, bus stops, the historic tram, and the metro line to the airport. The apartment is very spacious, well furnished with comfortable furniture, and offers an impressive view from the living room and one of the bedrooms. It was impeccably clean and had very good sound insulation. I highly recommend staying in this building! Recommendations: Access – the access codes for both the entrance door and the apartment should be provided at least a few hours before arrival. Even though I had informed them about my arrival time, I had to wait outside the building for 15 minutes at 11:00 p.m. with my whole family before my call was returned. Accommodation – it would be helpful if the living room windows could be opened, and if the apartment included a kitchen trash bin, at least one dishwasher capsule, and a broom. Additional lighting would be helpful, as the apartment is attic-style.

We stayed here in March and overall had a lovely experience. The apartment had a very cute and thoughtfully designed interior — perfect for a girly holiday. The location was also excellent and made it very easy to explore Lisbon.

Unfortunately, the experience was heavily affected by a serious leakage issue in one of the bedrooms. We reported it to the agency on the second day, but the only action taken initially was placing a bucket under the leak and using OUR TOWLES to cover and wipe the floor. It was clear this had happened before, as there were visible water stains on the walls and ceiling. After heavy rain that night, the situation became much worse. Water was leaking from several places, including into the wardrobe, and some of my friend’s belongings got wet. She eventually had to leave the bedroom and sleep in the living room. Communication from the agency was also disappointing. We contacted them again early the next morning and waited quite a while for a response. They eventually offered to move us to another apartment, but this was on the last day of our stay, after we had already decorated the apartment for the hen do and settled in and our friend didn’t feel well that day. We also did not appreciate that someone arrived at the apartment to inspect the leak without any prior warning from the agency. Being told in advance that a maintenance person would be entering would have been the bare minimum. While we did receive a partial refund, it honestly did not reflect the level of inconvenience and the impact this had on what was supposed to be a special weekend.
