Bluebird Cottage

Kitchen had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable. Liked having two bathrooms (toilet & toilet and shower), garden was nice to sit in, quiet neighbourhood.

Consider putting a hand trail on the other side of the stairs on the back door. Our elderly mother had a bit of difficulty without it.

The home was really clean and well provisioned with everything you might need. The beds were comfy with nice linen and the shower great.

I found the additional processes required by the holiday rental company to be cumbersome and over the top. This was on top of the booking.com normal procedures. The people were helpful enough, it was just painful. The code for the lockbox was not provided so I had to call and apparently, they can't send the code to non-AUS mobile number. Not very helpful for us - as we were travelling and don't have AUS mobile.

We had no breakfast supplied and location was good.

When booking the property on Booking.com I asked for blankets in the main bedroom, and on arrival and after checking there were no blankets supplied. I called the Holiday Rental Specialist office as was told that my message request for blankets was missed (not transferred from Booking.com to them?) and unfortunately no blankets were available. We don't like doonas and it them made our nights sleeping under a sheet and using the throws that were on the bed not a pleasant nights sleep. If we were informed before leaving our home we could have brought blankets with us which made me annoyed. Also the draught coming from the front door around the door jam was very cold, as it was a windy weekend.
