Stayed with multigenerational family. Everyone had plenty of space from bedrooms, outdoor activities and family meals. This home is not only spacious but beautiful. Plenty of areas to be together or have some quiet time. Host was extremely attentive, gracious and helpful. We certainly have made some wonderful memories for this week. Hope to return during a summer visit to enjoy the lake with more water activities..was a bit cool during Thanksgiving

Our stay was so great! The goats and horses were so friendly and really brought joy and peace. The chickens laid eggs for breakfast and the property was just perfect for our dogs. The weather was cool and rainy but this property would be great for summer. There were kayaks and many more water toys!The house itself was big and very clean with many conveniences readily available.I wouldn’t change anything about this accommodation. We will miss the sweet horses and goats. Our dog fell in love with Oreo!Would come again. Also we were just close enough to Atlanta to enjoy some shopping at Lennox mall and Phipps plaza.

Our family of 10 had the most wonderful Thanksgiving vacation at the Lake Ranch. This home is updated, super clean, and full of "toys" to entertain, regardless of the weather. To think that one could have a lakefront property AND farm animals too! So much fun! You'll find corn hole, ping pong, electronic basketball, giant Jenga, a hot tub and a sauna. Add to that a canoe, 2 kayaks and a double-deck dock for enjoying sunshine reflections on the lake.
A Christmas tree was decorated and lit to welcome us - an easy key code entry. The kitchen was well stocked, including a crock pot, Kitchen Aid mixer and double dishwashers. An extra catering sized fridge was in the garage.
The farmhand taught our kiddos how to feed the goats, gather eggs, and groom the horses. She was very patient and kind, calming the kids' fears and bringing them big smiles. Also in the back yard we enjoyed a huge fire pit area with lots of chopped wood under a protected port.
We found the bedroom configurations to be very adaptable for couples, singles and kids. Two of the king suites had adjacent or included beds for kids. The lower level bunks look like a castle, which became a focus of playtime for our little ones, along with a play kitchen. The bunks there could certainly be used for sleeping while parents could be adjacent in one of the king suites.
