Welcome to our antique Munjoy Hill home, located in the heart of Portland’s vibrant East End. This historic property offers two floors of space perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together.
You’ll be steps from Fort Sumner Park, where you can enjoy sweeping city views and unforgettable sunsets. A scenic path leads directly to Washington Avenue, lined with some of Portland’s best breweries, restaurants, and local shops.

The Space:
This space is made up of the entire first and upper floor of the historic Houghton House c.1888 (2 combined apartments connected by front and rear stairways).
The main floor features a generous living room with two queen sofa beds, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for groups. A formal dining room seats up to 10 guests, and the retro 1940s-style kitchen is equipped for preparing group meals with vintage flair. Two cozy bedrooms on this level share a full bathroom.
Head upstairs to the second floor, where you’ll find three inviting bedrooms, each with a queen bed for restful sleep. The primary bedroom includes a small adjoining room with a full bed. An additional full bath is located off the hallway. A central sitting area with another queen pull-out sofa adds extra sleeping space and a spot to relax between outings.
**The third floor is a private residence and only shares the stairways.

This historic home is located in the laid-back East End, also known as Munjoy Hill, is popular for walks and relaxation along the grassy Eastern Promenade, with views over Casco Bay.
This property is located near Fort Sumner Park and the Eastern Prom offering a beautiful sunset view of Portland. Just steps from restaurants and bars around Washington Avenue.
The Old Port is about 10 minute walk.
Other Things to Note:
Driveway is for guest use and can accommodate up to four midsize cars. Street parking is free.

The house at Munjoy hill was absolutely perfect for our joint bachelor/ bachelorette trip! We have a large group and was able to comfortably accommodate everyone staying. The arrival and departure process was so easy and i would recommend this property for anyone looking for the perfect stay for a large group!

This property was the perfect place for a large group. We had plenty of space to sleep and to relax. Check-in was simple so easy to check-out as well. Steve was very communicative throughout the whole booking process and our stay. I’d definitely book this place again!

The location of this property was great. The service and maintenance of the property was great. The space was well thought out. I would highly recommend this property to families or large groups and plan on staying at one of their properties in the future.
