Bungalow Beach is Galveston's Newest Vacation Beach House rental community. It's a short walk to the beach.
Bungalow Beach offers brand new, 3BR/2.5Bath, 1600+ sq. ft. homes with the best island beach access location, which is directly across from the Bungalow Beach entrance. Amazing sunrises and sunsets from the two covered decks, one facing the Gulf and one facing Galveston Bay. This 10-acre community with it's large open green spaces and a private freshwater pond offers wildlife/bird watching as well as catch-and-release fishing. These homes sleep 10 (max 6 adults) with 6 beds, two King bedrooms plus a bunk bedroom with twin over full beds that can sleep up to 6. Fully equipped kitchens include Keurig coffee machine and a Ninja Blender. FREE WIFI and smart TVs in every bedroom. Each house is also equipped with a Washer and Dryer. Enjoy BBQ or grill some burgers with the charcoal grill on the covered, concrete ground floor patio. Refresh in the outdoor, hot/cold water shower after a fun day of sunning, swimming, surf casting, bicycle riding and building sandcastles. Get ready for a relaxing, carefree holiday, hosted by our on-site staff that is dedicated to quality service for you and your guests. Location was perfect for our beach days. Home was immaculate and perfect for our family. Only complaint, would love if the back door window could be tinted or covered to prevent neighbors from seeing straight into your unit. Will definately be back!

Everything about the place was great. The views, across the street from the beach, close to some restaurants and groceries. A short drive of about 15 min. into town.

Lovely house, new construction with all the latest amenities and decor. Close to the beach...everyone had wonderful time.

The property was nice and seemed quite new, which was a positive aspect of our stay. However, there were several issues that made the experience less enjoyable than expected. The rental felt understocked, with no hot mitts for the oven and no supplies to clean dishes or cookware. Additionally, the air conditioning was set to automatically adjust to 78°F at night, which was a bit uncomfortable for us.
One of the biggest disappointments was the golf cart rental. It wasn’t made clear in the listing that the cart wasn’t included with the rental, but rather available at a discounted rate through a sister company. This felt misleading and left us frustrated seeing as this was the reason I booked this beach home.
Lastly, there were things that just needed to be painted better, for example the water filter on the fridge was overdue for replacement, which was another small but important detail that impacted the experience.
Overall, the building itself was nice and there were no major security concerns, but the lack of essential amenities and the confusion around the golf cart rental made the stay less enjoyable.
