Cedric House

Our 3-week stay at Cedric House was amazing. The house was absolutely beautiful with views from every room. It was secluded, soo comfortable, clean, roomy, and wonderfully appointed. The views from the garden were exceptional and we could see the lake from afar and Soo much wildlife up close - birds of all sorts, kangaroos, koalas, bunnies, and even horses from over the fence! The garden is huge, so much room inside and outside for the kids to play. The beds were comfy and the rooms wonderful to stay in. The kids (2 and 4 years) loved their bunkbeds, and we all had so much fun as a family doing the 1500 piece puzzle provided!! We brought some little games for the kids and they had a lot of fun. It was a great location as well, we walked the 2kms or so to Mallacoota centre every day (boardwalks by the lake - so serene, and many lovely areas for fishing), and saw koalas and heaps of other wildlife on the way! We had an amazing stay and couldn't rate it highly enough. We hope to be back in the coming years for another relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed pretty much every aspect of our stay! We would just recommend getting instructions to the house if checking in late, as the house is a bit hidden in what looks like a laneway when you first get there, and it's hard to make sense of it in the dark. Super easy to find after you've found it once. We also brought covers for the couches as we had small kids and didn't want them to stain the furniture. Bring slippers for indoors as the floors don't have carpets or rugs. Also, bring tea towels! But everything else we needed was provided :)
