Remarkable One Bedroom Apartment in Central London

ソーホーの中心地。 実際は７７段のらせん階段を上がる、４Fにある食洗器のないアパートである。 オーブン等の電気設備、皿、鍋等はあったが、包丁、フライ返し、お玉がなく自炊が困難とホストに連絡すると、翌日持参してくれた。 アパートは２１ｍ２ではなく、その３倍はある。古いロンドン形式、階段は古いが、趣がある。 キッチンとバスは少し前にリノベーションされているようだ。

４F,食洗器無しは正確に表記が必要。 掃除業者がよくないせいか、清潔感に欠ける。食器、鍋類、床は自分で清掃した。 タオルも洗濯機で乾燥させた。

The best things about this place are: 1. price, 2. superb location, 3. fully functional kitchen and 4. working washer and dryer (all in one machine). === We stayed at this place for 1 full week and we were aware about all shortcomings others have talked about in reviews. They are ALL TRUE - all **GOOD and BAD** things we've experienced! If you are willing to compromise climbing the stairs, and the fact that you need to clean the place yourself and wash all beddings, linens, floors and all utensils in the kitchen to make it acceptable for your stay, then you are all good. We were willing to compromise because we could also use the kitchen to save on food costs for three people, and wash our clothes so we'd need to carry very little luggage, and the price was one of the major deciding factors. You have Sainsbury and Tesco supermarkets 7-8 minutes from the apartment (use Google Maps). I'd recommend Tesco as they have a slightly better choice. WiFi at the place worked Ok, but the speed was not stable, it varied intermittently. I've measured it being 8Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload as lowest, and 25 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload the highest at some point. We did not use the TV, as there was no subscription/channels on it - you can however use YouTube, or your own Netflix account... While the place was located right in the major tourist area, I will reconsider next time if I will stay at this location as in the end there were just too many people in the streets here day and night...

The key pickup is from a nearby shop where you get a pin code and a store keeper gives you the key. There is only 1 physical key available, so this is an issue if there are few of you wanting to access the place at different times. This place is right next to China town, lots of noise and foot traffic (sirens and drunken people at night as well). The apartment is located on the 3rd floor without elevator. The kitchen did not have all utensils and pans, but had the basics - it was workable. The place was also lacking supplies as for example it had very little of soap. The bathroom had no shower gels, or shampoo, or any basics in the kitchen (oil, salt, etc.). These were all acceptable for us. But what was not acceptable was that this place was downright filthy and sofa was broken and unusable for the third person. We found (as others have said here) dirty beddings, with stains, and towels in the bedroom closet, human hair and dirt on the floor. The bedding for sofa was missing. We ended up going first to nearby Sainsbury to buy cleaning supplies and have cleaned the apartment throughout. This meant washing all the dishes, plates and utensils by hand. Throwing away food from previous people. Washed and dried all beddings, linens, pillow covers and blankets - this took major time. All this cleaning took us about to a day to complete (we stayed for a full week so we had time to invest) - and only then it was acceptable to use. If you are willing to compromise with these shortcomings, and balance the benefits listed above, then this place is for you.
