Luxury 2BR Penthouse Apt In Central Halifax

Beautiful property, easy check in and check out, great communication. Perfect for families. Plenty of great restaurants nearby; we enjoyed cheeky neighbor diner, angelique cafe, and dilly dally cafe for breakfast. Very convenient for families, close enough to the excitement and far away enough for peace and quiet for rest. Everything is within a 15minute drive. Having parking was also a huge plus for our family. Thanks for having us!

There was nothing we didn't like! I will note that there are no blackout shades in the rooms, so in the morning the bedroom gets very bright. Not ideal for littles if you don't have your own blackout cover for them. There are two bedrooms and one bedroom has a walk thru closet that can fit a playpen and get some darkness there but the other bedroom, there is no dark area option. If you need darkness to sleep, consider bringing an eye mask. Another thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is about a 35min walk to the waterfront. If you don't have toddlers/infants, this is very manageable. For those that do, its much easier to drive as walking with littles takes forever to get anywhere!

The penthouse was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and had spectacular views. The secure garage space was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of tea, coffee, and condiments. Clear check-in and check-out information was provided via frequent email messages.

Really tidy and well organised. Property well maintained. Excellent selection of restaurants and core services nearby. Beautiful views from living space and terrace.

Could have used a dresser in main bedroom - hard to store clothes well for longer stay and a dining table. Counter not great for eating meals for more than two.

We loved the tall ceilings and finishes of the penthouse. It is a truly beautiful unit with great views and a nice central location. The bed was comfortable and the place was nicely stocked with blankets/pillows/laundry detergent/etc. Underground parking was nice to have for the area as well.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. Some little we thought could be improved include: privacy shades didn’t keep that much light out of the bedroom so I could see it being difficult to sleep in once the sun is up (maybe sleep masks are something that could be provided if not wanting to change the blinds). The body wash seemed too thick for the dispenser and didn’t seem to want to come out. We also had a hard time with watching anything on the TV in the living room as there was a lot of buffering. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and the amenities.
