Pros 1. Accommodated our arrival, even though it was outside their usual timings. 2. Clean apartment. However, see point 4 of cons below. 3. Comfy living area furniture. 4. Good communication between the host and ourselves, particularly when there was an electric power outage on the Tuesday morning. We had no electricity, and the apartment is all electric. The host went to some trouble to find out from the supplier what the problem was, and when the power would be restored. 5. Provision of appliances very good. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glassware. We had a fridge/freezer, microwave, grill, coffee maker, washing machine and dishwasher. No electric kettle though, but apparently, not many households in Spain use kettles. 6. Plenty of space to store clothing in both bedrooms. Spacious wardrobe, chest of 3 drawers, and bedside table containing a further 2 drawers in main room. Further 4 drawers in another single wardrobe. 7. Deposit ‘hold’ released within 24 hours of return.

Cons 1. No guest handbook to tell us about where, for example, the nearest supermarket, restaurants, local police, doctors' surgery was. There were also no directions as to where the rubbish from the kitchen or the toilet bin in the bathroom should be put. We were completely left to our own devices, to find out this information. Fortunately, we had our youngest with us, and he knows Sanlucar very well. It turns out that the rubbish had to be deposited in the bins near the ‘Dia’ supermarket – 270 metres from the apartment. 2. There was no daily cleaning or servicing. This is the first time staying in an apartment - and we have stayed in apartments and hotels all over Europe and Asia - when we have not had this service. I have absolutely no objection or issue in tidying up after myself, and those staying with me, don’t either. However, I feel there should have been at least a couple of times when the apartment was serviced during our week’s stay. 3. Two toilet rolls were provided for the week for three adults! When I asked for a further supply, I was told that, ‘The amenities we provide are complimentary. Once they are used up, you are responsible for replenishing them.’ Amenities provided ‘complimentary’? Err, we have paid to stay in the apartment, and booking.com says toilet paper is provided, which, to me, means for the duration of the stay. I have never been refused additional toilet rolls before. 4. *Evidence of very small ants on the kitchen work surface. (Size on photo’ is much larger to show it is an ant.) 5. Wine glasses so high on top shelf of cupboard that our son who is 5’ 7” / 1.74 metre tall could not reach them without fear of them crashing to the tiled floor and breaking. Consequently, we used hi-ball glasses or tumblers all week. 6. Whilst there is a balcony is it a bit of a farce. It is possibly 2 ½ x 1 metre, with no room for even a small table and a couple of chairs. In addition, the view is rather less than wonderful.

La calidad precio del alojamiento con el precio. He estado en otros apartamentos y este era el mejor con diferencia.

El apartamento es más grande de lo que parece. Está muy céntrico, bien comunicado con el casco histórico pero también con la playa. En la avenida principal de la playa se aparca bien en algunas horas y no queda lejos del piso. No se escucha nada de ruido, y tiene todo lo necesario para estar unos días (nosotros 15).

Los sofás son un poco duros y la vitrocerámica tarda mil años en calentar.
