Stunning Modern Container Home on Golden Lake

The heating was amazing! Also loved the views and if I had any questions the host was responsive in a very timely manner.

It’s a very nice place. Very clean and well thought through. Everything you need is there. Beautiful view and best place to sit directly at the lake. We enjoyed it a lot.

평화롭고 행복한 휴식이었습니다. 카약과 패들보드, 모닥불을 즐기고 맘껏 힐링한 좋은 시간이었어요. 친절한 호스트와 주고받은 메세지도 좋았고 알곤킨공원과 오타와 중간 딱좋은 위치였습니다. 시설이 잘 되어있긴 하지만 샴푸 등 욕실어메니티는 챙겨가세요. 우린 완벽하게 준비해갔기에 우리 비치타올도 기부하고왔습니다. 마실물도 넉넉히 준비되어있어 감사했어요.

I don’t really have the words to express how truly extraordinary our stay here was! The container itself is beautiful, peaceful, incredibly clean, and the facilities were fantastic. It’s right on the lake, with paddle boards and kayaks freely available to use (there’s a beautiful creek you can paddle to and see the most wonderful wildlife). The bed gets a special mention- honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I don’t know what the bedding was made of but it was like being wrapped in a cloud. Now for the true highlights- the hosts Tracey and Anibal. I had injured myself quite badly the day we arrived and they could not have done enough to support us and make sure our stay was comfortable. They were the most generous, kind people I have met in all my years of travelling- you don’t want disaster to strike, but when it does- you want hosts like these guys to help you on your way! Thank you for everything, and for letting us stay in your beautiful space.
