Apartamento Puerta del Mar

THE LOCATION IS NICE. THERE IS A BAR AT THE GROUND LEVEL OPENS EARLY HAVING NICE COFFEE. THERE ARE ALSO OTHER SHOPS PRODUCING/SELLING FOODS FOR DIFFERENT TASTES. APARTMENT IS RENOVATED, CLEAN AND NICE WITH SOME NONE-OPERATIONAL APPLIANCES. THE OWNER PROVIDED PARKING PLACE AT 15 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE.

CHECK-IN AND ENTRY PROCESS IS A BIT DIFFICULT FOR NON-SPANISH SPEAKERS. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND SPANISH YOUTUBE VIDEO EXPLAINING HOW TO ACCESS APARTMENT, KEYS AND PARKING. ALTHOUGH, HE COMMUNICATES ON WHATSAPP, HE DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH TO ASSIST YOU. FURTHERMORE, YOUTUBE VIDEO IS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH AND IN SPANISH. I MANAGED TO GO IN FROM MAIN DOOR BY OTHER NEIGHBOURS ASSISTANCE. ALTHOUGH, CATTLE IS IN THE INVENTORY LIST, IT WAS OUT OF ORDER. LASTLY, SHOWER CABIN IS TOO SMALL ESPECIALLY FOR XL SIZE PEOPLE.

The location. Restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, shops, coffee shops all and more around the apartment. The beach is within 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The building has three lifts although the apartment is on the first floor. Two separate bedrooms with very comfortable bed. The sofa in the living room is nice to be able to watch TV. Full kitchen, small but very practical you plan to cook while there, we didn’t .The apartment has two express coffee makers, bring your own coffee and sugar and you are set. There is a capsule coffee maker but not sure what kind of capsules are needed since there was none. There is a washer machine, not sure how it works because we did not use it. There is also a Dryer but it was broken. There are two air conditioners, one in the living room and another one in the master bedroom, not sure how good they are since we had no need, the weather was cool so we opened the windows. The shower is kind of small without any racks to place your shower gel ore shampoo but it did bother us. There only one closet in the master bedroom. Bus line 1 takes you right into the heart of the old town for 1.10 € each way and the operate ever 6 minutes or so. The Hop On Hop Off has a stop right on the Paseo Martino 100 meters away. The place is perfect for vacation…..Antonio the host was very helpful and very friendly

The cloth dryer was broken…. It would have been a plus…. But we managed, it did not matter that much
