Athens Boutique Apt. - walking to Acropolis

Excellent location. The working elevator made luggage and lugging souvenirs and people easy. Close proximity to the sights (we did actually walk to the Acropolis - about 16 minutes or so once Google cooperated) and is located in a wonderful neighborhood. The bakery,, Zubro, on the corner (about a minute walk, maybe) is amazing. Fresh-baked spanikopita and bugatsa and other desserts,, plus awesome coffee and cocktails. Perfect spot to relax after a day spent exploring the city or to get your day started with a fresh-made cappucino or espresso that puts starbies to shame.. The apartment was clean, cozy and quiet. AC worked well and it was a perfect spot to relax after a long day. It was very cool to wake up every morning and go out on the balcony to see the Parthenon in the distance as well as see it lit up at night. The host also had a QR code on the fridge so that you could order in from.local places if you wanted to - we did a few times after some.looong days and were not disappointed - we even had a free bottle of wine from one place...Awesome experience.

There is another bakery in the neighborhood that is hit or miss on service (we are fresh-baked goods and coffee people). Very good but a little surly sometimes and seemed a little touristed-out. I get it. Stick with Zubro on the corner - they were amazing and always had a smile and a laugh with us, morning or night. If that's all I have to complain about, you know it was a great trip.

The apartment was clean and spacious in a good location, with great amenities, the host was very responsive and friendly! We would definitely stay again! Lovely place!
