Sidi Bou House

Un petit endroit mignon et parfait pour se reposer. Malgré la rue passante, nous entendons rien durant la nuit. L’hôte a été superbe! Elle a été disponible pour répondre à mes milles et une question de jeune touriste. Je recommande fortement!

Emplacement plus difficile à trouver. Par contre, en écrivant à l’hôte celle-ci est sortie pour nous accueillir. Pour trouver plus facilement l’emplacement, un carport (abri pour voiture et pour faire de l’ombre) est devant l’entrée.

L’appartamento è molto spazioso dotato di piccola cucina con tutto il necessario (bicchieri, pentole, caffè). Bellissimo e rilassante il cortile esterno per mangiare qualcosa all’aperto. L’appartamento si trova in una posizione tattica a 5/10 minuti a piedi dalla zona pedonale di Sidi Bou Said. Nelle vicinanze è presente un supermercato, panetteria, ristoranti e stazione ferroviaria.

Spent one night at Sidi Bou House. It's a fine place to stay, about 10 mins walk to the pedestrianised part of Sidi Bou Said. There's a car port where you can leave your car overnight. The bungalow was very large with a large bed, lots of room to store luggage, couch, table, bathroom and kitchenette. There's an outside dining/sitting area as well. The host will meet you on arrival so best to have a pretty good idea of when you will arrive. You can connect to the wifi outside the property, so if you're unsure, ask for the wifi password, so you can message via Whatsapp when you arrive (if you don't have data on your phone).

It's on a busy road which may bother some people

The location was perfect, so that makes up for anything that was lacking in view or amenities. It is located just a quick 15 minute walk to the Carthage archeological site, or walk in the other direction and sit at a cafe, dine at a restaurant, or do a bit of shopping. The courtyard is also quite lovely and a wonderful place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee before starting your day.

The place could use a small update as some parts of the walls were chipped and looked like they were covered in mold. Additionally, the sofa was a bit old and deformed so it was not comfortable to sit on. Some of the plates were chipped and old looking.
