No sink or toilet upstairs: not very practical. That's really the only minor downside.

Broken appliances, nice garden, beware of lots of hidden costs and awful owners

Good location (Zeeland is nice everywhere), poor location for immediate beach access though.

1. extremely INTRUSIVE hosts (the - uninvited! - owner or caretaker came over our first evening there, and stayed close to 1 HOUR yapping on and on about the area and what we can do with our time, even though I repeatedly told him we are familiar with the area; kept asking where husband is - he was out shopping for some stuff we forgot at home; come checkout morning, we are startled by a old lady creeping outside the living-room's window, 1 hour before their agreed time to arrive - nearly gave me a heart attack). 2. a LOT of HIDDEN COSTS. Once you book this property prepare to either carry your own bedding and towels (?! - who doesn't give you bed sheets??) or pay (a lot) extra for very questionable quality sheets and towels (cash and off the books, of course, the clear signs of an honest business /s) 3. Do you expect WORKING APPLIANCES? Well, we did. Turns out that no, the dishwasher is actually in need of a technical revision (according to time-consuming searches we did to locate the manual online, figuring out why it doesn't work to wash the dishes we loaded on the night before our leave). When we told the (nosy) owner of the problem, on checkout, he told us not to worry, he will figure it out. (Oh, and they are now demanding - through booking.com - that we pay the cost of leaving the dishes not washed. They expected us to maybe scrub them with our nails, since they do not provide a brush or a sponge to wash them by hand - I don't know, but at this point, I don't even care, I will not be coming back anyway, or pay their ridiculous fee) TLDR: nosy and INTRUSIVE hosts, lots of HIDDEN costs (they charge a lot to give you bed-sheets and towels, dishwasher doesn't work and they try to scam you for (yet another hidden cost) leaving the dishes not washed (even though they state as having a working dishwasher, without which we would not have even booked!). My advice? Avoid if you can, book at your own expense otherwise :).

Schönes Häuschen für zwei Personen mit Hund

Ein schönes Häuschen mit einem gepflegten kleinen Garten, perfekt für zwei Personen mit Hund. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt und es gibt im Umfeld Möglichkeiten zum Gassi gehen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Im Park kann man Essen gehen und das Nötigste einkaufen. Zum Grevelingenmeer sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Uns hat es gut gefallen, wir haben nichts vermisst.

Als wir ankamen, war es hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit zwar ok, aber stellenweise noch ausbaufähig (Spinnweben und tote Insekten in den Ecken usw.). Im Obergeschoss, wo sich die Schlafzimmer befinden, wird es im Sommer sehr heiß. Selbst mit offener Balkontür war es uns fast zu warm nachts.

Sehr wohnlich in erholsamer Gegend

Das Reihenferienhaus ist in einer netten, abgeschlossenen Anlage. Wertvolles Infomaterial mit einigen Geheimtipps aus der Gegend. Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet mit Gasherd, Backofen, Geschirr und alles was man an Hausrat benötigt. Der Garten ist schön angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Wir waren mit einem Hund da und es ist Ideal dafür. Der Garten ist vollständig umzäunt und das Erdgeschoss ist gefliest. also sehr Hundefreundlich und geeignet.

Zeeland im Winter ist sehr nebelig. Einen Klassischen Bäcker findet man nicht vor Ort, allerdings kann man bei einem naheliegenden Supermarkt alles nötige kaufen.
