The Lazy Duck Inn Yellowstone is a comfortable inn nestled on the western side of Yellowstone National Park. This cozy 15-room inn offers quaint, affordable, and quiet rooms right in the center of West Yellowstone Montana, Yellowstone's most popular gateway community. Lazy Duck Inn Room #15: has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This single King room with Sleeper Sofa, kitchenette, flat screen TV with basic satellite package, and full bathroom is the perfect retreat for guests who just want to stay in after a long day. Communal grills with plenty of outdoor seating make for a great evening hangout space to enjoy a beautiful Montana evening.

The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.

Room was comfortable, it had everything we needed with the exception of regular caffeinated coffee pods for my husband. But in all fairness we didn’t bother contacting the management company so not really a big deal.

This was a good location for our 3-night stay while exploring Yellowstone. It was a couple minutes from the West gate. It is an older motel that is being updated. Our room (#15) was clean with a comfortable queen bed with new higher end linens. New curtains in bedroom and kitchen. Shower was tiny but great pressure and lots of hot water. New shower curtain, paint, flooring,etc. Kitchen was very tiny but worked for us. I was surprised that it only had two little “dorm style” fridges. There’s a communal freezer outside that we used for our food and ice packs.
