*** Classic Mid-century gem designed by William Krisel and Dan Palmer in 1957 bought by Gene Autry in 1959. Built as a hotel, The Ocotillo was converted to condos in the 90's.
Beautiful calm setting in South Palm Springs.
2nd floor/top unit completely remodeled in 2015 with NEW EVERYTHING.
Full kitchen with all new appliances. Oven/stove, Microwave, Garbage disposal, Dishwasher, Refrigerator with ice machine. Washer/Dryer in common area, not in the unit.
High speed wireless internet in unit, 50" Smart Flat screen TV, 2 USB chargers, Queen size Memory foam mattress, Large bathroom with double vanity & skylight. Shower (no tub) with Speakman shower head and Hansgrohe hand shower. Living room area couch folds flat into a full size bed. Luxurious 1600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets.
Patio off of unit has table, chairs and umbrella.
Unit has Central AC and Heat with Blackout Blinds and Curtains.
This unit is on 2nd floor up 1 flight of stairs. There is no elevator.

Pool tables in common area next to lounge area. Adjacent to the pool is a barbecue area with charcoal grills. Also there are pay laundry facilities at the complex.
The Neighborhood:
Twin Palms is home to incredible mid century architecture so walking, biking and driving around makes for awesome exploring. Ocotillo Lodge is walking distance from Koffi, Ace Hotel and Bar, Mr. Lyons, numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Getting Around:
Parking is free, on property, and close to the unit. The Buzz trolley picks up every 15 minutes (Thursday-Sunday 11 AM-1 AM) and it's FREE! Only available thru June 31, 2018. The city bus picks up just across the street. Minutes from downtown and steps from the FREE Buzz trolley line, you can be anywhere in Palm Springs without ever having to get in your car.

• Responsible party booking reservation must be 25 years or older.
•This space is perfect for up to 2 adults and 2 kids. The city of Palm Springs limits the number of overnight adult guests to 2.
•Your room tax of 11.5% has been included in your booking rate as a "community fee"
•Bookings over 28 days are not subject to city tax and therefore the tax charged will be applied towards weekly/biweekly cleanings.
•An additional weekly or bi-weekly cleaning will be added for stays over 10 days. A discounted cleaning rate of $99 per cleaning will be added per week/bi-weekly and cleanings will be arranged weekly/bi-weekly to accommodate guests schedules.

The unit was what we expected, nice upgrades, clean. Had a brief issue with getting in the entrance gate and some difficulty with contacting the management. However, once they were contacted the issue was handled. They also contacted the Lodge management to let them know of the neighboring unit’s smoke detector battery on our behalf so we didn’t have to listen to beeping for our whole stay. You can’t beat the pool on this property, it’s awesome!!

Loved the openness of the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable.Eric was easy to work with and had done a great job making the place feel open.Our only issue was that only two of the stovetop burners were working. Took us awhile to realize that the back burners were unplugged (probably by previous cleaning).
