About this house rental
Rising House is located just behind and above our cozy Barnardsville home, a spacious eco-conscious guest house with private, handcrafted cedar sauna. Nestled between two beautiful mountain ranges with a gorgeous creek that you can hear anywhere on the property. Just outside of Asheville, this getaway is perfect for couples or small families. The space is light, quiet, and cozy and we’ve used it as a retreat and healing space. Come enjoy some of the cleanest water and reset your vibe!
The space
A large, spacious open concept (800 square feet with 15 foot ceilings) with a large divider to create little nooks for privacy or forts! The cedar sauna is located right off the private sleeping space and fits six.
There is a private shower and toilet in a small bathroom in the house.
Guest access
The entire home is yours. We live on a quiet little country road and the sunset walks are dreamy. If you go right you'll see ducks and horses and cows. A short drive from here are waterfalls and great hiking. At the end of the driveway is Martins Creek and a wonderful place to sit and meditate.

Wonderful little cabin. Even though it was located behind their house, it felt very private. It was in a very safe location too. Lots of neat things to do around the area too. The cabin itself is beautiful. We made good use of the sauna too. A perfect stay.

The space was amazingly set, clean, and offered mountain spring water from the on site well. Delicious.
If you’re looking for a spot to stay near Asheville but not too close, I highly recommend this property as a great option- about 28 minutes to downtown, with convienience stores along the way. A real delight!

Very nice, small spot in the mountains. Was very clean and the sauna was awesome. Perfect for a weekend around Asheville. Only downfall was there was no way to lock the door while we were out and about, but we had no issues overall. Would definitely stay again!

Had a great time, place was clean and tidy, great amenities, though the bed is definitely not a king bed as advertised. Chose this listing over another specifically for that, which is disappointing, but everything else was great
