The home was clean and welcoming with cozy beds and an even cozier couch to relax in! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and having an attached two car garage in the MN winter was ideal for bringing in groceries and not having to scrape a car. It snowed twice while we were there and we woke up to a shoveled driveway and steps by 8 a.m!The hosts allowed our family to gather there for Thanksgiving and it was so helpful to have a highchair and pack and play as well as games and two spaces with TVs.The location is in a neighborhood that is suburban, with quick access to the highway, restaurants and shopping.

We stayed for two months, using this home as a base for exploration of the Twin Cities and beyond. The two car garage easily fit our teardrop trailer and car, but there is no safe on-street parking on the busy road on the driveway side. Brian was usually responsive to inquiries and was immediately willing to install stair treads when we had a couple of falls on slippery stairs. He was also helpfully flexible on some of the house rules stated in the VRBO listing (e.g., he was fine with our not removing shoes indoors). The next-door neighbor, who is a permanent resident, is quiet and friendly with no kids or pets, and the neighborhood behind the house is quiet and pleasant for walking dogs. There is also easy access to bike trails nearby. The furnishings seem like a realtor show room -- they sometimes lack personality, but everything is comfortable and clean. We missed a few basics in the kitchen such as pot holders, a teakettle, and a toaster oven. The balcony was very pleasant in September and early October, though the downstairs heating wasn't up to the challenge of the coldest nights in late October.

Stayed here with my wife and dog. It was a great place to stay. There is a large nearby trail that we walked nearly everyday.
